  I can't remember what I changed but I uploaded mine by default with the dimensions of ('width=640' 'height=480') to my Photobucket account. But that was on my old laptop. I have yet to install Castaways on my newer one. I think I have something to do this weekend.

  Actually, your screenshots looks better than what I get.
  There is a folder in my 'neihborhood' file called 'storytelling' where the screenshots are low resolution an tiny.
  There is another folder called 'storytelling' where I get that kind of screenshots, but you cannot cumulate them in that folder. As soon as you take a new screenshot, the last one you took disapear. So I suppose, if I want to take many screenshots, I'll have to take is printscreens as @LBell suggested.

  I went to bed last night (this morning) so just getting up. I do have a FRAPS license I use for TS2 and TS3. Let me get Castaway installed and I'll see if it works for that. I don't see why it wouldn't work under the free version as well. You just don't have the additional options for file types (i.e. png) but I can't remember what the default was under that version.

  Okay I have the game installed. However, I'm going to have to tweak the files because it's small like TS2 was when I first installed it on this laptop. Plus, I need to mess with the sgr files for the graphics card to get my graphics recognized. I had to do the same thing on TS2 and it's been 14 months since I did it. And I can't play in the small window mode so I'll have to mess with all of the settings in the program files.

  blunote00, I love your Castaways pics! I have the game but haven't played in a long time, and it's not installed on my current computer.
  I got a new job and have no (bleepin') time, and when I am home I'm multi-tasking like crazy trying to accomplish it all, like housework .
  Well, anyway, maybe I should be tempted to reinstall?! It has been a long time. I remember getting about halfway through with the 'story', when I played.
  FYI , did you know A Lot of regular sims 2 cc can be used with castaways? Whole outfits (not the seperates since Castaways doesn't have seperate shirt and pants or skirts), makeup. My castaways were walking around in outrageous bustiers and miniskirts , high heels and makeup, LOL, and I think swimsuits, which are kind-a important in Castaways.
  @enson85, it almost sounds like you are describing a thumbnail pic.
  Maybe you can post a pic so we can see it?
  I have no recollection of bad looking Castaway pics HOWEVER, I am always very into my sims pics and it Seems to me I would remember if I had an issue of pics looking bad.
  I'm pretty sure I have my old game saves, pics and all saved to disc. I may take a look at them when I have the time to look for the disc, perhaps later on today.
  Also let us know what OS you are running, windows 7? windows 8?

  Okay I didn't have to mess with the files as I thought. I had to uninstall / re-install it again because I hosed it up. But I did just set the game to use the card in the Nvidia Control Panel and it shows that card in the config.
  The in-game camera shots are always small and I can't for the life of me remember what I did the first time around. However, it does work with FRAPS and I can get screenies all the way up to 1600 X 900 dimensions.

  Yes I was able to get some CC hair in and made it to where she had to move into the hut at the lagoon. She had a visit from the social bunny as I was trying to avoid spending time with the orangutans at all cost. They annoyed me the when I went through it the previous times and they still annoy me.
